Law & Order: SVU has drafted Treat Williams to guest-star on an upcoming episode, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

The Golden Globe-nominated actor, 59, will play Jake Stanton, a former all-star quarterback caught up in a sting operation with an underage prostitute. Stanton will be represented by famed defense attorney Bayard Ellis (Andre Braugher), who made his first appearance on the NBC drama last week.

Shooting on the episode, entitled "Spiraling Down," begins this week. No airdate has been set.
