    I really like Nathan. There is such an easy charm about him that translates well into the Castle character.

    The writing on the show has just improved so much... I want to know if they changed the showrunners or the writing team or something because the first season was not good at all compared to episodes from season 3 and 4... The only other show I can think of that has improved every season consistently is Breaking Bad....

    First seasons generally aren't that great writing. Fringe was like that as well. At least they don't have random Australian accents. ;)

    Same showrunner/Creator Andrew Marlowe,  but after season 2 one of the executive producers left the show.

    I don't agree really, first seasons are usually the best. Later on shows lose their freshness and start to recycle ideas. Numerous examples: Desperate Housewives, House, Grey's Anatomy. As for Castle, I think seasons 1 and 2 are the best. The first few episodes of season 3 were less than stellar but the show improved around the UFO themed episode and now season 4 is as good as ever. Castle is still a youngish show, probably because season 1 was so short.

    thanks. Nice to see Nathan out! Him and Stana did alot of that during the first and second seasons but laxed during the third, maybe they coming back in the fourth.
