  2. This show is great no matter what. I don't have a problem.

  3. I love that Castle can be both comedy AND drama.. it does both so well, and I think it has one of the best blends out there as far as cop shows go

  4. I must say I was rooting for a spoiler, but I was delighted to hear about these people's dedication to help and encourage others.

  5. Thanks, so true about Mash! Great interview, I just love how they're talking about Castle, their jobs and also how they're helping kids to express themselves.

  7. I like what's said about the show and their work. And I also like the darker Castle storylines. But I still love the light banter and funny situations the characters get themselves into.

  10. I don't really see the current season as darker.  Maybe some of the cases and situations have been darker but the silly episodes have been even more silly this year and it evens everything out.

  11. These two are very classy and I enjoyed this interview more than most.  I wish there was a program like this in my school.  What a way to connect real-life writing to kids!  As for Castle, I think they do a fairly good job of balancing the light and the dark although I am partial to the lighter episodes myself.

  12. I'd say that the early part of the season definitely felt darker to me probably because of the rift between Castle and Beckett.  However, it has been a lot more even keel as the season has progressed.  At the beginning I was wondering where the joy went.

  13. I guess that depends on the point of view.  Castle and Beckett were estranged for a time in the season premiere but that was due to Beckett's inability to deal with Castle's admission and her feelings for him.  On top of that, in that same episode, Kate basically "admitted with out admitting" to Castle that she felt similarly.  Some of the cases they've been dealing with this season may be more stark but Castle and Beckett seem even closer now, if that's possible.

The season has been smooth sailing so far but what I'm concerned about is what will happen when the secrets that these two have been keeping eventually reveal themselves.  That's when the season could get dark.

  14. I knew there was a MASH influence, its there in the delivery and the group dynamics; and gotta love the "gallows' humour".
