uh oh... I;m guessing this episode has to do with the fact that Castle and Beckett are going to walk on eggshell during this entire episode due to politic connection... I wonder what is going to happen? Gates doesn't like Castle around. Could this be her chance to put him on the side (bench him for a while). What would become of the duo, then? I'm just guessing here, but tbh, i'd love to see them apart , but still working together. (texting, talking on the phone) Whatever the reason two characters get for not working together anymore... AGAINST their will.... IT actually just make them do the OPPOSITE. They want to work together... aannnd... be together. ;)
ps.: COULD CASTLE LOSE HIS CONNECTION with the MAYOR??
I like it when they chose playful names for the episodes: Heartbreak Hotel (Elvis), Dial M for Mayor (Hitchcock), Little Girl Lost (William Blake), To Live and Die in LA (novel/movie... don't know from whom, sorry), etc.
As in the mayor that keeps Castle at the precinct despite Sir's objections. Castle better hope the mayor stays alive and well or he's going to find himself kicked to the curb.
I think gates it's not a bad person, only a woman lead a team and trying to be respected. But the mayor...i still thinking the mayor could be on the people responsable of Kate's mum.. may be the one. Montgomery said this man is powerfull. And put Castle on Kate's sides could be a reason to control her about the murder.
I never said Gates was a bad person but she doesn't want Castle around and she has made it very clear that she'll take any opportunity to get rid of him. That makes her an adversary, not an ally.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Thanks! Sounds good.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! XD
ReplyDeleteThe movie with Dafoe and Petersen is from Friedkin, the novel was written by a former secret service agent.
ReplyDeleteI agree
ReplyDeleteThanks! Wow, I didn't know it had actually been written by a former secret service agent. Cool!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I am definitely intrigued! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to have the Mayor back in the mix. I hope this reenforces the Castle / Mayor friendship. He needs it for leverage against Gates.
ReplyDeleteInteresting title.
