    Awesome! :) And the baby will be born around the time when Supernatural stops filming right? So Jared will have a few months to spend with his child before going back to work (if the show is renewed), which is really nice.

     He always says that he is never happier than when he is with his family, so I'm sure he will love being a daddy.
    It would be nice if Jensen decided to start a family too, so that their kids could grow up becoming as great friends as they are :-)

    or Jared Jr or Jaredina? (blame Jared and Jensen they came up with this at a con. Jensen said that if he knows Jared as well as he thinks he does he'll have at least 3 kids all named Jared, Jared suggested Jaredina if one was a girl)

    Remember at a Con when Jared and Jensen both said they wouldnt have kids while the show was still going? Does this mean that a season 8 is looking less likely now?

    maybe they just said that the wehneto stop the constant rumours that were going on all the time when noone was pregnant.. i m still worried about that though.i just don t care about the actors private lives at  all but i want to keep the show.tehn again some actresses keep working on shows when teh yare the ones actually pregant,a nd it would be nice if they keep the income and better conditions than if he d now start doing movies.

    I doubt the timing is related to the ratings, if that's what you're thinking.  I don't think they would have announced to the world until Gen was a little ways along.  I'd guess though that Jared will be wanting more time off going forward if there's another season, and possibly some time off near the end of this one.

    But according to the rumours Gen is over 4 months pregnant that would put the date of birth in March/April rather than May.

    It wasnt what I was thinking, I just remembered the boys saying that and thought that there is plenty of time to make this the final season/write it as the final season so maybe  they will end it. I imagine Jared will want to spend time with Gen and the baby and the show is very demanding. To me it makes sense that they announce season 7 as the end  not that I want it to be but I would understand.

    This is the best news ever! Congrats to Jared and Gen! I am so happy for them! Ruby is not one of my favorite names, either, but I did have an Aunt Ruby at one time (but I never met her) and I was supposed to be named Ruby. I like Karen much better!
