THE CW GIVES FULL SEASON ORDERS TO “HART OF DIXIE,” “RINGER” AND “THE SECRET CIRCLE”

The CW Orders Back Nine Episodes for its Freshman Dramas

October 12, 2011 (Burbank, California) – The CW Network gave full season orders to its three freshmen series Hart of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle, it was announced today by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW.

“We believe in the creative strength of these dramas, and by giving them back nine orders we can give our audience the chance to enjoy complete seasons of all three of them,” said Pedowitz. “With compelling storylines, engaging characters and tremendous buzz, we firmly believe that Hart of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle can become signature series for The CW, the kind of top-notch shows that are synonymous with our brand.”

HART OF DIXIE (Mondays, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) is from Bonanza Productions Inc., in association with Fake Empire, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Leila Gerstein (“Gossip Girl,” “Eli Stone”), Josh Schwartz (“Gossip Girl,” “Chuck,” “The O.C.”), Stephanie Savage (“Gossip Girl,” “The O.C.”), Len Goldstein and Donald Todd (“Samantha Who?,” “Ugly Betty”).

RINGER (Tuesdays, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) is produced by CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television in association with ABC Television Studios and Brillstein Entertainment with executive producers Pam Veasey (“CSI, NY,” “The District”), Jon Liebman and JoAnne Colonna, and co-executive producers/co-creators Nicole Snyder (“Supernatural”) and Eric Charmelo (“Supernatural”), as well as co-executive producer Sarah Michelle Gellar.

THE SECRET CIRCLE (Thursdays, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) is from Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Williamson (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Scream,” “Dawson’s Creek”), Andrew Miller (“Imaginary Bitches”), Leslie Morgenstein (“The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl”) and Gina Girolamo.

  10. Happy about Secret Circle not that thrilled about hart of Dixie i stopped watching after episode 1 cause i found it incredibly boring i fell asleep while i was watching it

  15. You should !!! Before it began, it was the one for which I had the lowest expectations compare to TSC (Kevin Williamson dahh!) and Ringer (Buffy's back!!), but Hart of Dixie became my favorite of the 3. It is just sweet and funny. Kind of a Sweet Home Alabama feel. Rachel Bilson is very fun to watch in that role.

  16. Great news.I will full seasons of hart of Dixie and ringer with the Vamire Diaries and Nikita.I never
    thought after Smallville ended most of my remaing network TV shows would be On the CW but
    that Is what has happened.Only non CW shows I watch anymore are The Simpsons and Hawaii Five 5-0.

  18. I love Hart of Dixie, they should keep going the way they are now! As for TSC, I hope it picks up the pace and let Faye become less annoying... but besides those points, I am happy to see it got a full season! =)
