Intresting episode.Lots of Intresting Devolpments.I will be pissed If Katharine doesn't survie being feed on by Michael. And I like ending with Jeremy and Ghost Anna.Finding ways to keep having Malese Jow appear Is a good thing. And that ending was shocker.
awsome episode but i still like last weeks better. its probably because this one was kind've a start into high school senior year so thats why. I loved the cliffhanger ending!!! I knew mason was returning and i thought it was just going to be ghost world but i actually didnt think it would be him in this! I thought the person was going to be like the return of vicki or something lol. And man i was surprised big time by Michael eating Katherine!! They did name him the vampire that hunts vampires so i guess that makes sense that he drinks only their blood lol. I think the gang is going to really really (especailly katherine and jeremy) regret michael. I think its stupid that they don’t realize that just like with Katherine to Klaus and Elijah, etc. U CANT TRUST someone you totally don’t know like Michael to actually be allys even if he promises to kill Klaus. Considering Michael may be stronger, if he kills Klaus they might have to deal next then with Michael… and I bet the witch on the other side helping Vicki is probably the original witch. Also I can tell they are starting to make tyler more like Stefan it will be funny if the story ends with Elena, Damon, Alaric, Caroline, Jeremy, and Bonnie against Klaus, Rebekah, Stefan and Tyler. Elena will probably get Elijah back tho and maybe if Katherine lived after her Michael bite maybe she’ll join elena’s team. Although its hard to tell if Katherine is alive or dead im betting the writings like her way to much to kill her off.
Awesome ep and I love how the show nver fails to deliver the twists and turns that you never see coming. It looks like the witch that was manipulating Vicki was trying to find a way for all the spirts to cross over somehow, but I'm just happy to have Malese and Spirit Anna around as I really liked her character.
i can answer tht...first no one owns the salvatore house except the brothers b.c elena died and klaus killed her tht is why the house become free from her and the lockwood house do u remember when elena and caroline found a blood on tyler's shirt and he said something along the line tht rebecca fed him so i am guesing he invited her in house
I tried to give Katherine a heads up about what Mikael would eat. TV Characters never listen to me. ;-) Tried warning Matt too, but he didn't listen to me last week so I wasn't surprised he ignored me this week too. :-)
Hybrid Tyler is going to be trouble. Stefan and Barbie Klaus(!) are massively sloppy. I kept wondering why no one (especially in the town that recognizes what vampire deaths look like) official had noticed. I'd be happy if the Sheriff at least asked Caroline or Elena about it.
One of the reasons I got so into this show is the character of Elena. She's not the swooning, please rescue me heroine. I love that her response to discovering that the humanity-less Stefan is going to play bodyguard...isn't to cower or be depressed. It's to start training in how to fight for herself.
Wasn't quite sure how to interpret the scene with Jeremy and Anna. I really wasn't ready for that couple to end when they killed her off. Bonnie makes an excellent point Jeremy not having closure with either of those relationships. (Loved his pretending not to see Viki.) But I wasn't sure what to make fo the fact that he and Anna could touch. Was it the spell that Viki and Matt did? Was it always possible but they didn't realize it?
Great ep.
Oh, is anyone taking bets on how long it takes Barbie Klaus to get Tyler into her bed?
Right. Always..thinking ahead Damon didn't take that into consideration when he killed the living relative that was living there. ( I don't remember if they ever stated his actual relation but Stefan had been calling him Uncle.) All kinds of vampires have been traipsing through that house since then. (I'm still perturbed about killing him off. I liked that character.)
Wow, I never know what to expect w/VD. Every week I am surprised. Still reeling that Tyler's uncle is back. Not in a bad way because he is a looker. Elena is kind of reminding me of Lana from Smallville. I was wondering when Rafael was going to be back on a show. Was happy and surprised it's the Vampire Diaries. I love this show. It's the highlight of the week for me.
This is not my favorite episode of the season. Quite a few things I didn't like about it.
Firstly, I couldn't believe Klaus left Rebekah (Barbie Klaus - brilliant!) for Michael to eat. I mean, he did believe he was coming when he ran away. Did he warn Rebekah about it or just left without saying anything? He did find the time to instruct Stephan to protect Elena (from who?) and Rebekah to look after Tyler. There was no aftermath of the rumors of Michael.
Second thing, I like Damon/Elena coupling, but the scenes in this episode were very forced. It's like writers want to please fans by including some Delena, but don't quite know how to fit it into the story. What they came up with looks sloppy and out of place.
Best moment of the episode - Alaric throwing a vervain grenade to Elena. Caught me by surprise. I'm liking him more every episode. Only human who is not useless.
Caroline and Tyler seem to be in a similar place they were in the beginning of season one (Caroline with jealousy issues and Tyler a D-bag). I hope they will have learned something and be above it all.
For the last - does anyone else think Stephan wasn't really compelled by Klaus to turn off his humanity? (Is anyone else still confused by that concept?) When Klaus was trying to compel Stephan, his pupils didn't dilate like they normally would in the process.
It was really a great episode ;) loved the scene between Damon and Elena at the gym and Elena being jealous when Damon tries to distract Barbie- Klaus ...! But I´m not so happy about the fact that they mess with Forwood! And I was seriously disappointed at Katherine... a vampire who hunts and kills vampires and rejects human blood, what might be his choice of food ????? It was so obvious ;/ And I really don`t know what to make of Mason`s return.
loved it, but there's one thing i don't get. if the house is in elenas name, how come these vampires keep coming in. elijah couldn't come in last season, how come rebecca could?
- I wonder if Nina and Ian are tired of doing scenes where they're saying their lines three inches from each other's face? - Matt's sister didn't make it back to the land of the living for long but I have a feeling Anna just might. - Bonnie may end up getting dumped for a ghost. Ha! - Rebekah continues to suffer from inconsistent writing. Why does she suddenly decide she wants to steal everything away from a stranger (Caroline) she just met? It makes no sense. - Elena is the legal owner of the Salvatore mansion. How can Rebekah just walk right in? - I think Mikael may have the solution to Stefan's bloodlust problem. Snack on vampires. - After Mikael refused the human blood, how did Katherine not see what was coming next? Duh.
- I think the next episode is the crescendo of the whole ghost plot. If Anna ends up coming back I won't mind, if only because Jeremy and Bonnie have absolutely no onscreen chemistry. - I'm really hoping Mikael will be a nice diversion from Klaus, even though their stories are connected. Less Klaus and more Mikael would suit me just fine. More Katherine would be nice too.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteAgree will definitely be pissed if Katharine doesn't survive. But i feel she has to because Michael needs more information from her.

ReplyDeleteGood episode, but I'm tired of dead characters coming back. Let them die and stay dead... Ghosts bore me. Dead characters returning annoy me.
ReplyDeleteI get that they need a b-plot to distract from the Klaus storyline, but I hope this ghost thing goes towards the light quickly.
I really liked the episode, but I thought it was the weakest of the season so far.

At worst shouldn't he just need more blood?

ReplyDeleteI hope Katherine survives because she is the best character in VD
ReplyDeleteNot a shipper, but damn did those Damon and Elena scenes crackle. Red hot chemistry.
ReplyDeleteReally good!!! But i really hope Katherine isn't dead!!

I'm betting on the first 15 minutes of the next episode.
ReplyDeleteQuestion is how long is it until Caroline finds out about it :D
