I liked it, though thought some of the powers were a little lame when you consider they picked them this time (though Curtis said he got the last one left). I did miss Nathan at first, but not as much as I thought I would.
While some parts were funny, the overall feeling i got was that this episode went nowhere story-line wise. Curtis and Kelly's powers are kinda stupid but i can live with that. The episode merely introduced us to Rudy. I have high hopes of next week's episode though. I missed Nathan's banter a little as well
Brilliant episode, absolutely love Rudy...both of them lol. Looks like I was right about there being two of him :D
I like all the new powers, be interesting to see where they take them. Love how they think up new and unusual powers for the show, it's part of what makes it interesting for me :D
I actually found him to be slightly annoying last year, it was like his character over took the show too much imo. Like, every scene he was in he was gonna say the most inappropriate thing ever and spoil any other emotion that was going on. He was a bit too much of a one trick pony for me, it worked brilliantly in S1 but soon became a distraction :(
I enjoyed the ep quite a bit. I'm borderline on the new guy. He was a little too over the top for me. I kept wanting more of the old crew. I figured they'd wind up back in the jumpsuits but I didn't that was how it'd happen. They picked some lame powers but, it occurred to me, this lot...of course they'd pick lame powers. :-)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I actually didn't miss Nathan.

Maybe i need to clean my ears out,but i find it very hard understanding what they are saying.

ReplyDeleteBritish accents are a strange and varied thing XD
ReplyDeleteUnderstating it slightly :P
ReplyDeleteSo true! I guess its like that every where, depends on where you were brought up! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been watching so much BBCAmerica that I was able to follow almost all of the accents. For the rest I found subtitles.
