Okay.... I can only buy the wife thing if she is in another country or a part of flashbacks. No way Sam has a wife at home and he and G never mention her. Either way I'm intrigued. Odd they have hsi wife he never talks about mentioned but not the kids he brought up?? I think flashbacks are coming up......

Depending on how they handle this,they could be opening up a whole new arc to this story.I'm not to sure i even want them to go there.Who knows, maybe she died soon after they got married.The possibility's are endless as they say! :)
