Thanks to alzslo08dexter for the heads up.
We've not been able to confirm this so please take this a rumour for now.
Who do you think it is?
In the final scene of Episode 6, Season 6, we have a shocking return. This return is a familiar face from the past. The return is also significant because it could change the whole dynamic of Dexter. Not just Dexter Morgan, but DEXTER the series.
That’s all I’m giving up. Who do you think is the returning familiar face? I want to hear your theories in the comment section. Every week until Episode 6 airs, I will post a CLUE.
CLUE #1 (Oct- 21st): She hasn’t been gone for long, so don’t expect a pretty blonde.
Clue #2 (Oct – 23rd): Dexter has secrets, he’s like an unsolved quiz. But only a select few know who he really is.
CLUE #3 (Oct – 30th): Shock, confusion, happy, angry…the reactions will no doubt vary. One thing is for sure, this twist will bring controversy.
That’s it, no more clues! Episode 6 airs next week. Also right after the episode airs on November 6th, an interview with DEXTER EP Sara Colleton will be posted on TVDoneWright.com . I have already conducted the interview, and we talk about the twist, and what it means for the future of the show.

Lumen? But they say not to expect a pretty blonde, so...
ReplyDeleteDoakes?
ReplyDeleteYeah, I heard about this last week but not the clues!
ReplyDeleteMaybe whoever wrote this doesn't think Julia Stiles is pretty...
ReplyDelete"She hasn't been gone for long." can only leads me to believe she is the character being hinted towards. I can't think of anybody else?
ReplyDeleteIt won't be Lumen. This guy is basically saying that because Lumen (Pretty Blonde) hasn't been gone for long, then don't expect her. And, I doubt it'd be Doakes, because they checked with dental after finding his crisp corpse in the river, and it was positive. I've heard some speculation that it could be Dexter's mother, but, no idea how that could work - unless she never actually died (but I don't see that happening). Personally, I haven't got a clue who it's gonna be, but if I had to guess I'd say that it would be the Trinity Killer's son. At first you might think, "so? Big deal?". But, it could be a huge deal if instead of going to Dexter - he identifies Dexter to the authorities. Now, that could "change the whole dynamic of Dexter. Not just Dexter Morgan, but DEXTER the series." Maybe Deb's promotion fell at the perfect time in the writers' room, if Dexter's cover is blown. Just speculation however...
ReplyDeletelila tournay from season 2 or christine hill, who was trinity's daughter
ReplyDeleteBut Dexter killed Lila so thats not possible Christine Hill commited suicide so i doubt that too but with Dexter anything is possible
ReplyDeleteim thinking Lumen
ReplyDeleteit has to be Lume, the other pretty blond was poor dead Rita. or is she coming back like Dexter's dad, to offer her 2 cents about child-rearing?
ReplyDeletei say its astor, she hasnt been gone too long
ReplyDeletewell actually thats a possibity of rita returning next week cause there was a spoiler just posted a few minutes ago saying that a ghost returns to haunt dexter and its not Harry according to the spoiler so its either rita or lila IMO
ReplyDeleteyeah but thats wnot something that really haunts dexter from the past since last season they seemed to have resolved there issues and the producers said we wont be seeing Astor and Cody this season
ReplyDeletecause they said that someone from dexters past comes to haunt him and its not his Dad but what im wondering is if they mean ghost or Alive
ReplyDeleteWhat about the Nanny from last season who trying to push God onto Dexter?
ReplyDelete"CLUE #1 (Oct- 21st): She hasn’t been gone for long, so don’t expect a pretty blonde."This is the most confusing (or confusingly worded) clue ever. The women who haven't been gone long, except for a select few, have been blondes. The only one that kind of fits is Trinity's daughter and it was never intimated that she knew who Dexter really was.
ReplyDeleteYep, I can only assume that Lumen has dyed her hair?
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. In spite of the clue, Lumen makes the most sense. I just can't seem to figure out why she'd come back.
ReplyDeleteYep, totally.
ReplyDeleteBe interesting either way to see if it is her and if not who exactly. I've been trying to get a screener from Showtime :)
I hope you get your screener. That would be a nice little treat. At any rate, since I liked Lumen, I'd be glad to have her back. It would make up for losing Brother Sam, who I was starting to like quite a bit also.
ReplyDeleteYep, I liked her as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't write off good old Brother Sam just yet :)
Who would you guess if I told you it wasn't Lumen?
ReplyDeleteI'd really struggle to think of an alternative
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Laura Mosser (He just brought her up to Brother Sam and Brian has also been mentioned and nodded too quite a bit so far)....either she finally starts taking to him 'in spirit' (It's not like he hasn't seen her before with Harry)...or she wasn't dead. She was put in witness protection. (<----and then if she is alive it will spark more conversation about Dexter's visions, whatever they may be...)
ReplyDeleteWell aren't we in the predicament then? ;)
ReplyDeleteMaybe Ryan is actually Dexter's sister...Just a thought. I really haven't read any spoilers. Yet...
ReplyDeleteit kinda says its not gonna be Lumen but on the list of people that are not dead and know dexter serect the other person it could be is Lumen cant think of any more people
ReplyDeleteThe first clue means that Lumen hasn't been gone for long, so it won't be her. Not that whoever it is is a her and hasn't been gone for long. Seems like a lot of people are misinterpreting that one.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's probably Brian in ghost form.
Dexters mother???? We never saw her body, only flashbacks of woman in pool of blood. Maybe Harry did hide her, even from her sons, as he knew Dexter and Brian wont be safe with her??? Maybe she was under that FBI "new identity" thing? Although, she has no way to know about Dexter´s "problem"
