After last night's episode, this sets the bar very, VERY high!!! Like Lou said, I haven't been this excited from week to week since LOST. LOVE #FRINGE!
Prediction: This is a mini season finale of sorts for the whole Where is Peter arc. Thus the tweet about being season finale level. Also notice in the TV listings that there will be a week break after the 4th episode. My guess is that at the end of the 4th ep we see Peter appear in the flesh somehow. then boom. Cliffhanger till two weeks later. They will return in two weeks to finalize the whole where is Peter arc then move on from there with new impossibilities.
Theory that will be debunked in the next 7 days or less: This is the episode of those new spoiler pictures with Peter and The Alternates. I say it's the first time Peter sets foot in the alternate universe in this timeline, hence "back to..."
Well my initial thought going into the season was 2 or 3 episodes to work out the characters and then Peter would be back in some form.....
I changed my opinion with how they started the season and thought it would be 5 or 6 episodes until Peter got back, but this title is certainly suggestive!
Well, if Peter does step back at the episode's end it will certainly make a lot of fans happier with how the season is going!
sounds about right. also, john noble said in an interview (comic con, i believe) that the first 4 episodes would be one story arc like the first 8 episodes of season 3, and that then the show would sort of pick up from there (again, just like last season).
i'm really enjoying this whole process of introducing peter back in the story and can't wait to see how he manages to convince every one that they know him!!
Bad Robot has the BEST episode titles...it sounds like we might get to see either a new past of this timeline, or another part of another unseen timeline.
I think it could go like that, but I am curious after last night's episode if the characters are to reject him (like breaking the connection with the fungus/ "6B" breaking connection from the doppleganger of the other universe)...and if another story will derive from there???
well, for me it's the first to make me go "WOW" about it, maybe 'coz I already associated it with Peter's return (i know it might not be it) and how angst-y it sounded.. "Neither Here Nor There" is a very simple statement.. that's what I think at least!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I don't think since the days of Lost have episode titles gotten me this excited
ReplyDeleteWow, epic title!
ReplyDeleteAnd "season finale level" episodes are always great!

ReplyDeleteTitles this season are great. I actually loved "A Sort of Homecoming" better than what they chose, but overall, very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteOH this is going to be mind blowing and we have to wait another 7 days. CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteSounds pretty accurate to me, damn at the break though I knew it would happen as it always does but 2 weeks between episodes is too much!

Anything David Fury writes is awesome so I'm psyched for this even without the title.
ReplyDeleteGoing crazy!
ReplyDeleteWOW! that's the best Fringe episode title ever .. now I'll all thrilled for this..

You can believe me or not, but this is exactly what I said before reading your post.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's the eighth episode. I hear that episode will be very important.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike ;)

ReplyDeleteAwesome title!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, they've had some awesome titles.
ReplyDeleteThe premiere alone was awesome "Neither Here Nor There"... and "White Tulip," etc.
I think it could go like that, but I am curious after last night's episode if the characters are to reject him (like breaking the connection with the fungus/ "6B" breaking connection from the doppleganger of the other universe)...and if another story will derive from there???
ReplyDeleteIt's episode 8 http://twitter.com/#!/Dfury/status/122741829916565504
ReplyDeleteI suppose that's more succinct than "Get Back To Where You Once Belonged." :)
ReplyDeleteme too!!!

ReplyDeleteJust saw it, too. Guess soon we should get more in between episode titles.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or... Leonard Nimoy really gor a credit on IMDB for the next episode?
ReplyDeleteHa! I told you.
