  1. Hard "R's" and short "A's"... either she is still in character mode or she is dropping the Aussie accent.

  3. I really like her! She seems very down to earth to me, funny, smart, a beautiful woman. ;) Haha ok now it seems like I'm drooling, which I'm not.

  8. I love that she sat through an entire junket interview in her Fauxlivia wig.

  9. I love that she's thinking through her answers -she is trying not to reveal too much!I mean when she was asked why Peter isn't hunting her she didn;t say "wait and see"
We obviously saw in the last episode that peter has been connecting with her!
    I love Anna so much!

  10. I noticed that too!! Also... the episode "airing", the way she says "air" gives her away too :P

  11. It's funny I've noticed along the years that Aussies seem to easily drop their accents as they live and work in the States, as opposed to Brits and other European English speakers. I often wonder why that is. Mel Gibson used to be (well I guess he technically still is) an Aussie. And numerous American soap opera stars are from Australia, and have dropped their accents as well. Weird for me to notice? Maybe but that's what I do, I have an ear for it.

  12. Well I'll leave John Noble out of it his working accent reminds me of a more modern version of what used to be known as the Mid-Atlantic accent of the 20's 30's and 40's. But he plays a Bostonian so I guess it works out for him.

  13. Well, apparently scientists did some study on it, and the fact that many people cannot speak without an accent is coming from the fact that we developed particular muscles in our throat to make the sound of our particular language.

Now, I know it to be true when for example you are french (like me :P) and you speak english... however, I do not know if this applies to accents in the same language... weird

Anna has a mild (but still present) Aussie accent, that's maybe why it's easier to loose...

Haha! I love Walter's Bostonian accent! He does it so well!
