Jenna Elfman will play an investment bank employee troubled by her company’s conduct. When she approaches Channing McClaren (Phillippe), the iconoclastic founder of a website devoted to corporate and government transparency, it lays the foundation for the case that will pit Patty Hewes (Close) and Ellen Parsons (Byrne) against each other. Also recently cast as a recurring on Damages‘ fifth season, set to air next year, is John Hannah (Spartacus) as McClaren’s loyal adviser and protector.

Sounds like they're taking their places in the final battle. I hope the final season is a blast.
ReplyDeleteI stopped watching after the 3-4th episode this year, found it a bit slow :( Maybe watching them back to back will help, I'll definitely have to catch up so I can see John Hannah :D
ReplyDeleteIt got really good in the second half of the season.
ReplyDeleteCool, I love John Goodman so I'm not sure why I didn't get on with it. I watched every other season back to back, so maybe I'm just more used to that pacing.
ReplyDeleteI find it far more interesting when I was a few episodes in a row too.
ReplyDeleteI'm like that with most dramas honestly, but with Damages in particular it seems to make the story a bit more coherent.
I dont watch Damages but i love Jenna Elfman so i might have to watch the episodes shes in.
ReplyDeleteI watched the first 3 seasons back to back and stopped during the 4th season to watch it later nack to back again. Definitely enhanced my viewing pleasure.
ReplyDeleteI liked Elfman as Dharma, but I never got to see her in any drama, at least I couldn't remember. On the other hand I never thought Danson or Short would be that good in a drama role.
ReplyDeleteAnd is it already confirmed that it's the final season? I heard that before too, but I also read an interview with on of the show runners saying that it could even last longer.
Ditto! I'll do it also for John Hannah..I LOVE him.
