8 Sept 2011

Hey SPN fans,

We have been informed that episode 7.09 of Supernatural is called:
"How To Win Friends & Influence People."

I haven't found official confirmation yet, so cast this as rumour but as soon as we get any I'll let you know.

  1. I'm sure Dr. Norman Vincent Peale is spinning in his grave somewhere....or he's laughing.

  2. Didn't Dale Carnegie write that book?

  3. Sounds legit.
Maybe it'll be good too :P

  4. But it says here http://www.spoilertv.com/2011/08/supernatural-season-7-episodes-titles.html The episode has a different title. So did they supposedly change it?

  5. I'm confused... the titles for up to 9 already came out. Episode 9 was titled "Season Seven, Time for a Wedding! So... o.O?

  6. You make a good point :P ... Maybe this title is for a later episode, or they changed it. I'll look into it :)

  7. I would like to register for the course please. Who will be the main speaker? Crowley?

  8. It used to be "Season Seven: Time for a Wedding" so this should be interesting... :)

  9. Intersting thanks

  10. They probably changed the title. I knew it wouldn't be the wedding one!

  11. The show changes titles all the time - at least several titles on average a season. Some S6 title changes - early title release for 6.12 LAV was "How to train your dragon" and 6.18 Frontierland was originally listed as "Gallows Pole".

  12. This sounds just as intriguing as 'Season 7 Time for a Wedding'.
Remember back in season one when the majority of titles were just one or two words? (Just throwing that in there randomly)

  13. I hope this involves Dean trying to be fake-nice to someone.  Making him have to suck up to someone would be funny.

  14. It was Carnegie.

  15. They change titles all the time.  There were changes in season 6.

  16. It would be funny.  Dean can be nice he wants to be, but if's people he doesn't care for, he can a real jerk, very uppity, or plain obnoxious.  It's why I love him.  I wouldn't the nerve  do or say half of what's he's pulled.

  17. First the Dr. Phil title and now the self-help title.  I see a theme here.  Maybe the whole season takes place in a mental facility and Dean and Sam are imagining it all.  Until the end when they realize that they really are screwed after all.

  18. Perhaps it's really "How to Win Bridesmaids and Influence DJ's, Time for a Comedic Episode."

  19. I think his course is the following day.  It's called "How to Win Everything By Manipulating People".

  20. aww are the boys learning how to play nice? . . .Yeah right

  21. I prefer season 7 time for a wedding :D meta

  22. Both of which i think were vastly superior titles. Frontierland was a childish title, Gallow's Pole at least fit with the way they like to name episodes after songs or albums. As for Like A Virgin it wasn't a bad title for the ep but How To Train Your Dragon sounds cooler and if you've seen that movie it fits more with the emotions that were present in that ep.

Back to 7.09 both of the episode titles I've heard for this one are a little strange. And I think they've gotten into a habit of making the ninth episode of each season be as crazy as possible. 6.09 Was Clap your Hands If You Believe and 5.09 was the Real Ghostbusters,

  23. Yeah I agree about "Frontierland" being a childish title; it was a tension defuser when Andy called "Cold Oak, SD" "Freaking Frontierland" because that was what Andy was like, a relatively harmless (of the PKs) goofball. I know that "Gallow's Pole" is a Led Zep song and the show has used quite a few LZ songs as titles before so I'm not sure what the problem was. About the change from HTTYD to LAV, maybe the show could get the "rights" to use the movie name, but could get rights to use the song name. I have zero idea how shows get rights to use movie/book/song titles as episode title.

I agree- since S5 the show has had a comedic episode. My guess is S7 will be like last season, 7.09 will be light or funny or both and 7.10/11 will be series dramas and include a midseason "cliffy".

  25. Then I do have to clear my schedule to attend that course. Crowley lecturing....yeah!!!!

(Oh boy, hellatus is really getting to me.....did I just admit I would register for a course held by Crowley??.....I need Season  7 ASAP! )

  26. Hm.
Again the mental facility "twist". I hope not, "Sam interrupted" was cool, but the entire Season, nah. So not want to see that.

I guess Sams mental conditon will play a major part in Season 7.
From the spoilers so far I'm under the impression that they deal with all that while on the road on the run from the law (I suppose the new computer whiz to be introduced this season might be working for the government, and is on their trail) and trying to find a way to convert Cas back to his old self, or stop him permanently.
And not to forget the new BigBad (oh please SPN writers let this be a mulitlayered, really cool and believable BigBad) they'll have to fight.
They so don't have time to stay in the mental facility.
