Lost Girl - Lina Roessler lands major role

15 Sept 2011

Lina Roessler will be appearing in a major role in season 2 as a love interest for Dyson and will shake up the love triangle.

In Season 2, Dyson barely has time to grasp the full impact of his sacrifice when the
reappearance of a figure from his past poses a serious challenge to any chance that he and Bo will ever get back together.
She will likely be appearing in ALOT of episodes.

  1. Good to see Dyson get a new love interest... even if I'm sure it's a relatively temporary interest since eventually they will want Dyson & Bo back in the love triangle I would bet.

No idea who she is so I can't comment on her I guess.

  2. I know this is *Spoiler*TV, but would nice if you didn't put spoilers in the titles.

I've not seen her in anything either.  Hopefully her acting skill matches her good looks.

  3. great news for my shape "lauren/bo"

  4. she looks familiar - not to mention pretty. I approve. Anything to get Bo to stop acting like a pathetic teenager.

  5. This could go either way - Bo moaning more about Dyson or she moving on to Lauren.

  6. I think "Attractiveness" is a cast requirement. ;)

  7. Yea thats exactly what I was thinking too, I would rather she goes after Lauren than see all the jealousy that will probably happen with Dyson.

  8. The show better explain this.  After all the talk about Dyson getting his love taking away and that wolves mate for life, it doesn't make much sense at all that he'd have much interest in any relationship at all.

  9. I never took it that way I guess. I took it as Dyson's love for Bo was erased from his being so it was as if he had never loved her and could never love her again, but he could still love some one. Kind of a reset switch on his one true love.

That said, this new love interest could be a one-sided love interest with interest in Dyson while he does not reciprocate. He could use it as a tool to move away from Bo and to push her away. Whether or not he loved new girl,  Bo would be annoyed and jealous and it could make for good story conflict.

  12. Wolves dont actually mate for life, when Dyson said that I had to roll my eyes. They are faithful to one partner true but if they seperate for one reason or another wolves will find another mate. This was just poor research on part of the writers, I mean the guys a couple hundred years old, did they really expect us to believe that hes never loved someone else.

  13. Agree with you completely but so goes the expression.

If they decide to make a mating for life thing they can regardless of whether or not real wolves do.

Not sure how they will play it out, but I'm on your side. The over-romanticized aspect of mating for life is just silly for some one of that life span.
