An uncertain future for the SyFy drama follows the Canadian drama channel canceling "Almost Heroes,"
TORONTO -- The SyFy drama Haven from Entertainment One and Big Motion Pictures is on the bubble with Showcase channel in Canada.
Showcase programmers are to decide in two weeks on the future of the foreign-spawned drama, which is based on Stephen King's novella 'Colorado Kid' and shoots in Canada.

yeah if Showcase cancel SyFy will have to pay the whole cost of the show and im not sure they would be willing to do that
ReplyDeleteI really hope they keep it!
ReplyDeleteYea that's exactly what I was thinking and we know they probably won't do that
ReplyDeleteSay it isn't so! I would be really upset if they cancel Haven. It would be great if Sy Fy would pick it up if Canada doesn't. I can only hope. I mean they are canceling Eureka so that money can go to Haven. I hate to say this but since Sci Fi went Sy Fy I am so disappointed in this channel. I don't watch this channel as much as I use to. :0(
ReplyDeletei hope they keep it
ReplyDeletei don't know how the rating are doing for this show.... but it is one of the best Sci Fi's out there.... No way they should cancel it!!
ReplyDeleteIf they cancel this show, all I'll have on Sci-Fi is Eureka, which will be ending next season, and Warehouse 13. Sci-Fi has earned a place as my "bubble network".
ReplyDeletehow smart- cancel all the syfy shows that fans like
ReplyDeletePLEASE DON'T CANCEL IT. I love this show!
ReplyDeleteOn Syfy, the ratings are a bit lower than Eureka/W13/Alphas, but that isn't surprising given that it is alone on Friday. It is doing far better than Caprica, Sanctuary, or Stargate Universe.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how it is doing in Canada.
This year has really meandered. I like the series, but it is rudderless at the moment.
ReplyDeleteIf the last episodes of the season shed some light on the Troubles I will be happy whether it's renewed or not.
Agreed actually, i really hope they renew but it has felt a bit directionless, despite them introducing new ideas and new characters... it's not felt as paced and intriguing as season one.
ReplyDeleteno ...sad s2 gave to the show more popularity more people started watching it...with 13 ep per year you dont have the time to explore more things ...for the relationships either to explore more the characters....i hope they dont!!
ReplyDeleteDo you know how stupid that would be? Could I picket the shit out of this?
ReplyDeleteaww man, i was just gonna give this a shot, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope it survives, Haven and Alphas is all that Syfy has left for me to watch.
ReplyDeletePlease DON'T cancel Haven! It's an awesome show!
ReplyDeleteOh, come on. If you're going to axe a show like this, at least renew it for enough episodes to properly wrap it up.
ReplyDeleteDon't do it Showcase! Visit the Facebook page Discover Haven - The Filming Location to see the following in Canada. We're loving Haven!
ReplyDeleteI love the show...it's the only reason we watch Showcase!!
ReplyDeleteEric Balfour says this is not true, that it's inaccurate journalism..hope he's right Haven is one of my favorite shows!
ReplyDeleteI'd be thoroughly crushed if they cancel Haven, Supernatural, Bones, House or Parenthood
ReplyDeleteodd hollywood reporter is usually reliable but i guess not with Canadian stuff
ReplyDeleteI hope they keep it!!!!
ReplyDeleteahh i really hope they dont cancel this show!! its one of the shows that im really into!
ReplyDeleteI really hope and pray that they don't cancel HAVEN plsssssssssssssssss. I really love this show especially Nathan and Audrey.:)
ReplyDeleteI guess if they cancel it SyFy will too but I hope they don't.
ReplyDeleteWhat! it is one of a few shows I look forward to and ensure I am home to watch..."kicking my hubby off the TV" as he puts it ha! ha! Tell me it isn't so!
