Fall TV - Most Promoted Fall shows update : Revenge, X-Factor and Up All Night continue domination

13 Sept 2011

NBC has put the vast majority of on-air promotion time in recent days toward Up All Night, which gets an early preview this Wednesday (September 14) at 10:00 pm after the season finale of America's Got Talent. Up All Night is now up to 840 promotional seconds within hit summer programs on NBC, still clearly the #1 new show priority for the network. Free Agents follows Up All Night on Wednesday at 10:30 and has received only 200 seconds since mid-July.

ABC continues to heavily push Revenge (now up to 735 promotional seconds since mid-July). This is a massive bombardment especially compared to how little it is promoting everything else.

CBS continues to place almost equal bets on Person of Interest and Unforgettable (each with 500-540 promotional seconds).

  1. It will be very interesting to see how this compares to ratings.

  2. The Revenge ads are EVERYWHERE. They have even taken over ABCfamily!

  3. What surprised me is that X Factor (US version) is going to be airing even in my home country (and only two days later than in US), this never happened before.

  4. I think CBS may have shot themselves in the foot for Thursday nights.  I think Fox will take the lead for this night.
