Hey Guys,

I have had to post todays poll a couple of hours before yesterdays poll finishes, so if you wish to vote in the urt Hummel (Glee) vs. Parker (Leverage) & Fox Mulder (The X-Files) vs. Juliet Burke (LOST) polls then you should head HERE to do so.

Today sees Damon Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries take on Anthony DiNozzo of NCIS in a sure-to-be-close showdown as well as Michael Westen of Burn Notice challenging Sydney Bristow of Alias in another poll which on paper could swing either way...

Currently leading the prediction competition is Todd German, holding on to the top spot he has occupied for the past few days. To see your score head HERE

For anyone new to the competition the rules are simple. Every day there will be a new set of polls between characters who are bidding to become the winner of the second STV Character Competition.

All you have to do is to vote for whichever characters are your favourite and at the end of the 24 hours whichever character has more votes will be the winner and will progress into the next round. There are three rounds before the quarter finals, semi finals and then the final...

Don't forget to tweet, facebook, google+ and spread the word about the characters and shows you love to try and boost your chances of winning.

    Second poll was one of the easiest for me..Alias is in my top 3 of all time favorite shows and Sydney was an awesome character!

    First one was much harder.Tony is my favorite NCIS character,but I really like Damon as well..I don't know!Tony,I guess..But I'm sad.   : (

    Finally an easy one where I actually like characters.  Tony DiNozzo brings the fun in NCIS.  I love his boyish charm but how he couples it with unswerving loyalty and a passion for his job.  I know it is a tar and feather offense, but I like Tony a lot better than Gibbs.

    Michael Westen is my sole survivor in the hopes of getting Burn Notice into round 2.  Although I prefer Fiona and Sam to Michael, he is the lead of the show and the mastermind behind their most brilliant jobs.  Plus he said, "Guns make you stupid.  Duct tape makes you smart."  LOVE IT!  One of my favorite quotes of any show any time.   

    Although Burn Notice seems to have a bigger base now than one year ago, I'm afraid both of my choices will fade quickly.  I guess it's an honor just to be nominated.

     I chose Anthony Dinozzo and Michael Westen.  It's not that I don't watch Vampire Diaries.  I catch it when I can, but I like Dinozzo, and I have really Michael Weatherly since Dark Angel.

    I have mixed feelings about Logan in Dark Angel.  I really liked him in season 1 but when he joined the Max whinefest of season 2, he irritated me to no end.  I blame the horror of emoangsty Max for the downfall of Logan's character and the entire show.  Thank goodness Alec and Joshua came to save the day.

    Totally agree with you about DiNozzo. I also love that he is a big movie buff and is constantly saying quotes and making references :D

    I predicted Damon Salvatore would make it to the final four, but I had to vote against my bracket and give support to DiNozzo.
    I've never watched Vampire Diaries and DiNozzo is one of my favourite characters (along with Abby) on NCIS.

    I love both in the first poll. I think Damon will win though. I'll be sad that Tony's out so quickly in the comp though.

    Yeah, you have a point.  From what I had read Alba had problems.  Jensen says they are friends but back then they did not hit it off very well.  The gag reels showed him getting hurt couple of times.  Some people on the set have said it wasn't an accident.  Who knows.  Jensen won't say.  He's too decent.

    I really don't understand people's fixation with yet another vampire. Maybe it's because I laugh out loud everytime I try to watch anything vampire related or Supernatural. I know there are fans and they are active, but am I the only one that thinks these shows are unintentionally funny?

    I don't mean to be rude, I am just curious to know if there are other people who feel the same way.
