  1. Pretty entertaining, not as good as the hostage episode with Mark Sheppard a few seasons ago, but good nonetheless.  Hopefully Pearce will find out about Michael's lies next week and we'll get an excited mid-season finale.  Still hopeful she's not involved.

  2. Thought it was great just wish Michael and Fiona could be together more often.  Pearce is going to catch on to Michael hiding the truth from her. I just don't think she's a trustworthy person.   I hope during the last half of Season 5, the truth comes out, Michael and his friends are free and he can finally move on and tell the CIA to screw off.  Making client stories the focal point of the show is great.  I'd like to see more of them for season 6.

  5. Last week we had Patrick Bauchau who was on The Pretender with Donovan and this week we get Michael T. Weiss who starred on The Pretender.... Who's next? Andrea Parker?

Tazered "friends", MacGyvered explosives, smirking Maddie and a great guest star all ingredients for a great episode!

Is it just me or has there been a lot of explosions the last few episodes?  I'm beginning to think that they are starting to write around the explosions instead of writing  episodes that may or may not need explosions.

  6. While I love Michael and Maddie working together and the scene where she saves Michael from being shot was great, I am still looking forward to next week more.

  7. I can't imagine anyone being a bigger fan of the show than I am without a restraining order of some kind, but I have to admit out loud that the formula is beginning to repeat itself too much.

When Michael gets into some kind of fix, the solution is to TALK REAL LOUD while pretending to be the bad guys' previously unmentioned "real" boss, indispensable ally, etc. "My name is Michael Westen. I am going to BLUFF MY WAY THROUGH THIS by ACTING REALLY OBNOXIOUS and HOPING YOU DON"T JUST SHRUG AND SHOOT ME."

We've already got one just-add-water trope on the show: Sam's always-pliable "pals downtown" who cough up whatever information the team needs to put a plan into action. "Listen, Michael, my buddy downtown was able to confirm the existence of three additional shooters in Dealey Plaza, but it took me a round of mojitos to get their color photos and driver's licenses."

By now, aren't "Chuck Finley," "LOUD CONFIDENT DUDE with about three different accents," and "crazy lady who can get any hardware she ever needs but for some reason drives a Hyundai" the most famous people in Miami?

Don't the city's criminal-hangout clubs post Michael's picture by the entrance to their "secure" VIP lounges? "If this man spills a drink on your girlfriend, insults your guards and tells you your operation is a joke, DO NOT HIRE HIM to take over security for the heist you've spent a year planning to carry out tomorrow morning."

Also: We never saw for sure that Carla was dead. I'm just sayin'.
