Thanks to Bruce_F for the heads up.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Jason Gedrick has booked a three-episode arc on the sports dramedy as a new old love interest for Callie Thorne’s miracle-working shrink. Allow us to explain: The Boomtown actor will play Dr. J.D. Aldrigde, Dani’s former grad school professor who unexpectedly falls back into her life. But Aldridge will do more than just woo Dani; he’ll also butt heads with Marc Blucas’ Matt, her onetime fling and obvious soulmate.

  1. Matt is her "obvious soulmate?"  Unless you are the writers - that's putting the carriage before the horse...

  2. "and obvious soul mate"  Really?  I like Matt but soul mates may be pushing it.

Happy to learn Gedrick will again be gracing my screen, but i'm glad it will only be for 3 episodes.  I don't think Dr. Dani's love life can stand adding another to the love triangle that is surely coming down the pike between Matt, Dani, and Nico

  3. I like Gedrick, a lot more than Blucas actually, so I'm good with this development. And I second prior comments about the "obvious soulmate" stamp. Blah!

  4. I'm sorry, but Matt is nothing compared to Nico to me. I think it would be amazing if Nico got upset about this.
Only is Matt's girl leaves before these three episodes will it be ok, But I'm still with Nico and Dani.
ANYBODY HAS GOOD NAME FOR THEM?
