I agree. NCIS seemed very "same old, same old" whereas NCIS:LA got my heart pumping just watching the scenes. Oh, I love both shows, don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure about Gary Glasberg helming NCIS, the episodes he penned were very weak, IMHO.
I don't see why NCIS couldn't have used the whole "Tony covered in blood, race against time" thing to their advantage instead of going out of their way to make it bland and light, two things the press release doesn't promise for the episode. Sometimes the writers get so hung up on the fact that they have humour on their show that it becomes a bit of an overkill. Especially on Tony and Abby's parts.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I can't wait to see both NCIS and NCIS:LA
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for them to be back :)
