  1. I think this plot twist has been done to death.  Perhaps I'll skip this episode and instead watch Supernatural's Mystery Spot.  It's the best TV version of Groundhog Day-ing I've ever seen.

  3. I love Groundhog Day episodes! They're the best.

  4. I don't need to see another "Groundhog Day"-style episode until a writer finds something new to do with it.  It's always the same damn thing.

  5. I'm pretty excited, I actually REALLY like Groundhog day episodes.

  6. How do you know Haven's version won't be your new 'best'? :P

  7. You won't know if they're going to do something new with it or not without watching though, har!

  8. Remember the show we are talking about? Chances are quite high that Haven will find a way to make something new and unexpected out of it, at the same time managing to puzzle the viewers even more on the overall story arc :P

  9. Not to mention that the show these writers did before, Dead Zone also had sort-of groundhog Day episode(Johnny got stuck in his own repeating vision(s) of one person's death once) and they handled it in really good yet heartbreaking way.

  10. Ha!  It is possible, but given previous episodes of Haven and the masterpiece that is Mystery Spot on Supernatural, I highly doubt it.  I like Haven.  Generally it's interesting but nothing about it makes me think appointment, can't miss TV.  Usually I catch up on it a few days after it airs.  Perhaps this will be the episode that changes my mind.

  11. That's my point too.  I feel like this plot device has been done to death and it's hard to make me care about seeing the same thing happening over and over again.

  12. I can't argue with your logic, pheral.  You got me.  :)

  13. I like Haven well enough but, honestly, the only development that would
genuinely surprise me is if this show were to actually start answering
some of the questions it has raised so far.

This show is starting to compete with Lost for its prowess in withholding information.
