ReplyDeleteYes, I liked him in that one too. And I liked the concept of his immortality, but didn't think the chemistry was all that good between him and the woman who played the love of his life.

He spoke about several things.
He wasn't intimidated by the incest and childmurdering, but rather found that that made Jaime an interesting character. And that was why he went after the part. He does concede though, that if his real sister had been an actress and had played the part of Cersei he might have felt different.
He wouldn't want to be a member of any other house than Lannister and his favourite character other than Jaime is Tyrion. (Fav. female character is Cersei due to her complexity). Says Jaime and Tyrion understand each other and love each other, and Tyrion is the one Jaime can be himself with. He enjoys working with Peter and Lena, and was very impressed by Charles Dance to the extent that he forgot Dance and only saw Tywin. Favourite Jaime quote: "The things I do for love." When asked what Jaime thinks of Joffrey he replied: Cersei that little shit is all yours.
His most memorable moment is walking onto set and seeing Paint Hall and the Iron Throne. Second best moment was the fight with Sean Bean. He wasn't worried about hurting SB, just curious, whatever that means. The final scene in episode one was when he knew he had to do this.
He's sat on the Iron Throne and it's as comfortable as it looks.
He saw the similarity between Prince Charming on Shrek and Jaime right away.
He thought Comic-Con was an amazing experience, and it was his first with fans like the GoT fans. :)
He hadn't read the books before the show, but does know his entire arc for the show as well as the first book now. Said he might sneak a peak. He really enjoys the writing on the show, and was thrilled to meet GRRM and get to speak with the guy who created his character. (The question was whether he was intimidated.)
He's a huge fan of HBO shows. His favourite colour is blue. He reads between takes and just finished The Impperfectionists by H. Jacobsen. Plays soccer and hangs with his family in his spare time.
