Francesco Quinn, best known for portraying Rhah on Platoon, Syed Ali on 24 and Beltran on The Shield, passed away yesterday at the age of 48. Quinn was playing with his 10-year-old son in the garden of his house in Malibu when he got a heart attack, and the doctors weren't able to save him. May he rest in peace.

  6. I only saw him on THE GLADES are few months back - he looked very fit - but obviously looks can be deceiving.  This explains the reasoning behind yearly or two yearly full body check ups - something could be a amis and you don't even know it.  My prayers go out to his family especially as young as 10.

  10. He's been a part of so many programs I've watched over the years and I usually liked his performances.  It's always terrible when someone passes so early, especially when they have so much yet to give personally and professionally.  My condolences to his son and the rest of his family.
