I found a fun fan art poster for Season 6... Very well done and quite fun! XD http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_nXUmV0U91lc/TTvWOa0TvuI/AAAAAAAAA5I/EvbJkCrKvRM/s1600/Dexter-TV-show-poster.png
I know that in the age of HD, actors and promotional people tend to obsess about these things but to me it's just not necessary. A good photographer can eliminate the need for all these obsessively retouched images if the design and promotion people just wouldn't be so anal about everything. Most people don't expect TV and film personalities to look like sculptures or something out of Madame Tussaud's wax museum.
I agree. I can see why they do individual shots and then use Photoshop to combine them into a group shot. I mean it is so much easier to take a good shot of one person in one picture than every individual in a group in one picture.
I can also understand taking a "green screen" (or grey etc) and then Photoshopping in a background later. Saves on transit time or set up costs etc.
Regardless though, in both cases I think the less tweaking of the actual individuals the better in most cases.
Well.. It makes a lot of sense to call him and paint him as an avengeful angel, but I wonder how that is particularly shown in season 6. It's already a very dominant "theme".
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Great poster with great idea
ReplyDeletelove it .. & can't wait for this season to start

ReplyDeleteI thought that too when I linked the keyart photo last week....
ReplyDeleteSo much of promotional art and posters is photoshopped now it's harder to find one that is not these days.
