A while ago darq posted the first infos about "World without end", the new Ken Follett Mini-Series, also known as the unofficial "The Pillar of Earth"-Sequel.
Here's a snippet from german broadcaster Sat.1' Press-Release:
Production is set to begin on Monday, July 11 (Hungary, Austria & Slovakia).
The Show isn't heading to (german) TV until 2012 - so i think, it's maybe equal to US/UK TV.

ReplyDeleteBeing so far into the future it really isn't a Pillars sequel in the normal sense, but I'm looking forward to it. Interesting approach to continue the story generations later.
ReplyDeleteI will miss the characters from Pillars, but if the quality of the writing, acting and cinematography are as good I'm sure I will love it despite a completely new cast.
This is the first I have heard about it. 'Pillars' set the bar pretty high so hopefully they can pull it off.
