Frank Darabont revealed that we will see a flashback between Lori and Shane. Andrew Lincoln said tensions will split Rick's group into smaller factions. When asked if Michonne will be in Season 2 Gale Anne Hurd said she doesn't want to spoil anything.

    It seems like nobody asks the producers about whether Tyreese will appear in Season 2. He's the character I most want to see on the show, and he appeared within the first few issues of the comics.

    Agree, I don't know why this topic hardly comes up. Tyreese is such a great character and his hammer is iconic and I'm seriously pissed if he doesn't turn up in s2. There's plenty of time for Michonne in s3, which I thought was already confirmed, so just bring on Tyreese!
