    That was expected anyway. I really want an official statement what's going to happen with Darabont. Not sure we will get the whole story of why he stepped down as a show runner.

    Exactly.

    If he just wants time off and it has nothing to do with th series I will feel better, however If Darabont left for show-related reasons..... I will remain a bit worried.

    Yes it is, because this guy was there from the beginning of second season so no need for power shifts and he is good, very edgy writer whose talent recently was wasted on some procedural shows. But it depends how far AMC will let him go, if they will give him free hand then show should be fine.

    He wrote one of the best episodes of the first season on TWD. The man also did a great job on The Shield. And has only worked on good shows besides maybe Hawthrone and Standoff his career.

    He wrote one of the episodes where Forest Whitaker was just pure awsome in, when it comes to The Shield.

    It`s far better than if Eglee was still around for the show i think.

    Glen is for sure a good writer. I had the opportunity to appreciate his work on The Shield and I like him. But this whole Darabont thing is messy. I just hope it has nothing to do with the creative direction of the show or with concerns of the broadcast.
