  3. I KNEW I liked Jared.  I am a big fan of the 'original Stars Wars' myself.  I have the original trilogy on VHS, if anyone is old enough to remember those. :) Problem is I no longer have a VCR.
Really looking forward to season seven to see what the new 'bigger than all' is....

  4. "this season will be bigger than Armageddon!" wow, I want to see what the writer has come up with!

    - anxious little fangirl who doesn't really like the hellatus except for the vacation part

  5. When I was little I had Return of the Jedi on VHS and watched it over and over and over again. lol

  6. Jared is awesome as always but I'm a bit nervous about "bigger than Armageddon."  It needs to be something the brothers can face and win on their own.

  7. The best event we had at college was a Star Wars trilogy (original of course) night that started at midnight.  We gathered over 100 people around a fairly small TV with sleeping bags and light sabers.  Everyone was shouting out lines and re-enacting scenes in the corner.  It was fabulous! The fact that we were all practically passed out from midterms helped a lot too.

  8. I love reading interviews with Jared and Jensen and this is no exception. Their love of the show and their respect for the fans always comes across so clearly, and the fact that they enjoy going to conventions and interacting with their fanbase is just a bonus in an already amazing fandom. Plus, the (previously unknown, to me anyway) extent of Jared's geekiness is just fantastic! Lord of the Rings for the win. :)

  9. "Bigger than God' sounds a little like a spoiler since a lot of people are expecting the big bad to be Cas.  The only character we've met so far who was bigger than God was Death, but I'm guessing it's someone new.

  10. What I want to know is what could be bigger than all of that all of those things?  It sounds exciting!  I can hardly wait.

  11. If he really doesn't know what the big season arc is about yet then I suspect this is just a little bit of pre-season hype gamesmanship.  Nothing to take seriously.

  12. I saw the original Star Wars movie in the theatre when it first came out (I was 6, I think). I think it was the first movie I ever saw... I was hooked at a young age. And yes, I'm that old :)

  13. Hehehe I'm excited! I really enjoyed this interview and found myself squeeing over Jared's geekiness when it comes to Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. ♥ It's adorable! Boba Fett is awesome, Jared! :D I liked the picture too haha! I always enjoy reading his interviews because they come across so fun, playful and charming. You can really tell he has such deep respect and love for the SPN Family. He even calls us that on a regular basis and tweeted he saw the SPN Fam in Jersey yesterday. I loved that! I hope more stuff comes out soon. I love reading goodies like this, and I am VERY intrigued by Season 7! I can't wait to see what it brings us!

  17.  Yeah lol I wish I could be here! I'll be on the road to Florida while Comic Con is going on dammit! I think rumor has it is that they'll show some clips or a sneak peek from the new ep they just filmed and Jensen just directed, but I could be wrong. Didn't they show a sneak peek last year of Weekend at Bobby's which was also Jensen's ep?

  18. yeah they did. And I'm pretty sure they always show a clip of the first ep they film. SO YEAH :D

  19. I'm with you on that, but I also hope Sera doesn't drop the ball this time around.

  20. "and this season the foe will be bigger than Armageddon, bigger than the apocalypse, bigger than Lucifer and bigger than God."
... and just like Jared, I have absolutely no clue what that could possibly be. I hope whatever it is, there'll be a way to solve the problem that doesn't seem too far fetched or anything ... well well.

  21. I was turning 16, so I am even older... I paid to see the first movie 19 times in the theater and by the time Empire came out, I was making over minimum wage, so I saw it 26 times. I had never seen a movie more than once in a theater before then... and except for seeing Jedi about 5 times, I didn't see another movie more than once in the theater until The Fugitive. I was obsessed with Star Wars.

I actually think I transferred my teenage obsession straight to Supernatural when  I saw Kripke in an interview describe the show in terms of Han and Luke. Then, I saw interviews with the boys and I was hooked. It suddenly became so much more than a TV show for me.
