    I think that they used a lot of footage from old episodes in that trailer, that's why we are seeing old characters.

    Obviously its not gonna have new footage...they only filmed 1 full episode already and based on the description, it doesn't seem too associated with the major plot. This is just a refresher about what happened last season. It was still awesome tho

    uy what in hell was that its realy freaky too watch castiel became a strong badass bobby and the brothers new biggest problem ever this future firt episode will be exiting and trouble experience but is supernatural.

    Ok, Cas saying that they have to bow down to their new god - him - or he shall destroy them ... that still freaks me out.

    I hope we'll get a first trailer for season 7 with new scenes at comic con ... I'd love that.

    I don't know if they "went back to" Lovecraft, it's a 100% recap of season 6, so it might (and probably will, knowing this show) still go in another direction.

    I know what you mean and I am missing myself news about our two brothers. But right now the shift Castiel is taking as a threat is somehow (right now) interesting regarding Sam and Dean. I want to see the brothers dealing with all that what they have gone through -like the aftermath of the big prizefight the brothers averted!

    There was an inordinate amount of focus on Cthulhu and Lovecraft in that promo.  If SPN is going down that route for the upcoming season I will laugh my butt off.

    I don't care for Cas either but he is the first problem the Winchesters and Bobby will have to deal with this season. I hope there's a bigger bad than Godstiel because I wasn't impressed with Cas as a "duh duh dum" supervillian in the S6 finale. I actually was laughing at his pretentious, mustache- twirling speech and that's a first for any SPN finale.

    Can't wait for the ones that should come out on Sunday.  We should get something about the gag reel even if it's just tweets.  Plus, don't they usually show clips from the first episode they shoot.  That means we should see some of episode 3.
