Some casting news, it was discovered that storyline featuring Debi Mazar as Carmen, a parole officer, has been put on hold due to time constraints in the overall arc for season 4.
Sutter confirmed these changes to me this morning. "Unfortunately, Debi's character [Carmen] was cut because of time. We just didn't have the minutes in the episodes to play that arc out in fully-realized way. I love Debi, and think she'd be an awesome addition to the show. My hope is to bring her back in some capacity in future seasons."

That's too bad... I like her.
ReplyDeleteI really like that Sutter axed the arc though rather than do it in some half-assed way like too many series do on network TV. Kudos Kurt Sutter!
Damn that sucks. She would fit in perfectly with the cast of the show but I understand why they cut it. Hopefully they find a role she can play in the future.
ReplyDeleteI was worry it was some of the main cast, or Danny Trejo and Rockmund Dunbar.
ReplyDeleteI mean, all those actors fits the show, even Mazar. I think also Hasselhoff fits his role on the show, and i dont like Hasselhoff. But i really want to see Trejo on this show, best mexcian badguy-actor ever even tough he takes alot of shitty roles. And Rockmund Dunbar did great on Terriers as an detective, so i would love to see him as a lawman again.
Yeah, Rockmund was terrific in Terriers, can't wait to see it on screen again.
