Writer/Producer Richard Hatem (The Gates) has quit The Secret Circle for "creative reasons", Writers/Producers Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain had previously left the project

    Iám not interested in this show, but itdoen's sound good. Secret Circle won't live long if the problems started before the show itself.

    Bad, bad sign.  If it weren't on the CW, this show would be doomed.  Since it's on the CW it still has a chance.

    I think  that after Williamson joins the project, he decided to change direction and plot. So some writers were disappointed and left. Also Williamson has to be paid, they can't afford to pay too much writers/executive producers.

    why everybody talk about cancellation or other  things. The creator is still following the show, a great producer like Williamson too. Why we have to worry? it's not the end of the world, they will have  new writers

    Also craft and fain works always together, if one quits the other too.
    And they worked on series like the shield women's murder club and lie to me... i don't see them so important for the develompent of TSC

    "Kevin has a vision, and they just didn't see eye-to-eye creatively," a source close to the show said. I understand that Hatem is staying in business with Secret Circleproducer Warner Bros TV through a development arrangement, which is now being finalized.  deadline.
    I TRUST williamson, i did a great show like TVD.

    The fact that you listed The Shield and Lie to Me makes it look even worse because those were generally great shows (especially The Shield) and if great writers don't like what this show is doing, that seems like a red flag to me.

    This is not that ~dramatic of a story. Honestly. The original showrunner, Andrew Miller, is still attached. The only reason this show got any traction is because KW came abroad and saved the project. He has a vision and that's what the network wants. So, anyone who doesn't agree is better off seeking other projects. Richard Hatem was added after "Heavenly" wasn't picked up. Writers-producers come and go. It's not exactly breaking news. There's no reason to assume there's trouble with the show. I'm still looking forward to it.

    I have to say that the plot hasn't manage to interest me so far, but Williamson is on board and I'm going to give the show a chance for him. I wonder if his coming aboard will set a darker tone than previously envisioned???

    I think Williamson's vision is seen as the most important... I guess creators/writers leaving before the show's first episode is better than them leaving in the middle of a solid first season and to see it go downhill from there...
