On June 28th 2007, USA Network launched a small action show about a spy who gets burned in Miami. 4 years, 4 seasons, 62 episodes and a TV movie later, Burn Notice enters its 5th season as the most watched show on USA Network and one of the most popular series on basic cable. So, today's poll is about Burn Notice. Which season do you like the most? Why? Vote in the poll and feel free to comment on your choices below. I haven't seen this show yet so I won't participate, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who will vote for their favourite season and then fiercely debate with the others in the comment section.
You can still participate to the first two polls :
- What is your favourite season of Breaking Bad?
- What is your favourite season of True Blood?

I found this quite tough as I came to BN quite late and watched S1 and 2 on dvd over a short period of time. I decided on Season 2 and i can't recall a bad episode.
ReplyDeleteThe Tricha Helfer-season.
ReplyDeleteyeah, the one with Carla was great, because it seemed like while Michael was the best, he was still one step behind.
ReplyDeleteFor me it's between seasons 2 and 3. Season 2 has Carla and Bly. Season 3 has some of my favorite episodes and Strickler. It's hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteSeason 2, hands down. While the writing has been (mostly)consistent over the seasons Tricia Helfer and Michael Shanks were both in S2. So it wins.
ReplyDeleteI think it was Strickler that clinched it for me. I voted Season 3.
ReplyDeleteI ended up voting season 3 too. Strickler I think made a more compelling bad guy than even Carla because Strickler divided the team as well. With Carla they were all against here so it didn't have the tension that Strickler brought. I think that was my favorite story arc in the series so far.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a toss-up between Seasons 2 and 3. Both had Dead Larry. Season 2 had Carla but Season 3 had Strickler and Gilroy. Carla was much easier on the eyes, so I give the slight edge to Season 2. Very slight.
ReplyDeleteI'm a late arrival to BN after numerous recommendations from friends. I watched the first 2 eps, git hooked, and tore thru the 4 seasons in about a week. I loved all the seasons, but I particularly enjoyed S2 as I loved that the stakes were especially high and that MIcheal's family were finally fully privvy to all of the insanity that was Micheal's life at the time.
ReplyDeleteLove all the Burn Notice seasons, but for me Season 2 wins this for me. The whole season was exciting because we were learning a little about the people behind the burn notice, and we got the 2 awesome cliffhangers (midseason and finale).
ReplyDeleteSeason 2 was the best so far but season 5 has been mind blowing!
ReplyDeleteSeason 3 is by far my favorite season. It had Strickler, Mason Gilroy, Simon Escher and Larry Sizemore, the debut of Michael's Irish accent, great episodes like "The Hunter", "Shot in the Dark", and "Friendly Fire", lots of great guest stars (Danny Trejo, Mood Bloodgood, Chris Vance, Callie Thorne, Garrett Dillahunt and Tim Matheson) and very few weak episodes.
ReplyDeleteSeason 3 was fantastic.
Not to mention those final scenes of Lesser Evil. Helfer and Shanks were part of one of the best scenes on TV period; and when you add what happened next....
ReplyDeleteI agree. Season 3 had fantastic episodes and great guest stars. My favorite episode of Burn Notice is from season three, Long Way Back; which in turn has my all time favorite line.
