Rookie Blue - Already Casting for Season 3 - New love interest

Although Rookie Blue has not yet been officially picked up for a 3rd Season, our sources are telling us that ABC/Global are already looking for a series lead in for Season 3. The new lead will be called "Nick" and sources are telling us that he will be a new rookie (ex-army) and a potential love interest for Andy.

    I can assure you it's not BS :) It comes from a source who is involved in LA for actors and this is a casting notice that went out yesterday to various talent agencies.

    i will not be happy if this nick guy is a potenital love interest for andy. Andy and Sam should be together make a new girl rookie and put her with nick. And i hope there a season 3..... I love this show.

    The people who run this show are so kind & genuine, they don't deserve this, I don't really think this was appropriate to post. This show isn't like glee with an already huge fan base, where no spoilers can touch them cos they know people will still watch, sorry but the season has just begun & now this could lose viewers, no more Spoiler TV for me.

    Every time the show is mentioned it seems like it's about love interests for Andy.  I'm starting to picture a line of guys extending out through the precinct doors and that's not good.

    It's alright to let Andy focus on being a cop a bit more instead of using the police force as her own personal dating pool.  This is starting to make her character seem way too man-happy.

    Anything casting-wise at this point for a non-confirmed future season is certainly not set in stone.  I also don't believe a minor spoiler from a not yet picked up 3rd season posted on one website will deter fans of the show from continuing to watch.  Don't you think you're overreacting?

    I got a DM on twitter straight from showrunner Tassie Cameron saying the 'possible love interest for Any' part is NOT true. So calm down everyone! ;)

    I actually like Covert Affairs, but it's a different type of show, and Annie is a very different character from Andy. Moving Andy in that direction just won't work.
