I thought it was good but not first four episodes of season 3 good. Too much Sarah. Not enough Mozzie or Elizabeth. The idea of a young Neal worked fairly well but the episode didn't flow as well for me as most.
Maybe that's what I missed in this one too. Usually by this time, we would have kicked into gear over the mystery. Today was more muddled. I voted great also simply because there is no good choice and usually I vote awesome.
More often than not now with the show I've been paying attention to my computer, whether it be the internet or a game, as opposed to giving most of my attention to the show. Still a fun show, but I don't know I'm waiting for something bigger to happen.
Too much Sarah? She had VERY little screen time for the first five episodes, but once she appears for any significant amount of time there's suddenly too much? How does that make sense?
We each have our own opinions. In this episode, there was too much Sarah for me. I like Sarah in 5 minute blocks, not as part of the actual story. You like Sarah and were probably disappointed in her lack of screen time in earlier episodes. To each his own.
I am as usually late for this. Anyway, thought it was a good episode. I like how Peter always hints to Neal that he knows about the treasure thing and Neal is between being loyal to Mozzie and Peter. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I don't like Sara's face when she found the ID. Like she was thinking about how to use her knowledge or something.
I don't think Sara was the problem. I think that they were laying it on too thick with all of Neil's internal conflicts to the point where they sacrificed a story to do so. It was really ham fisted to the point where I feel the writers were beating the viewers over the head with it.
The fact that there was a significant Sara presence in this episode was just a coincidence.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I loved it! Crap at Sara finding out at the end. But hey, if it helps screw up Neal and Mozzie's stupid plan, I'm all for it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for next week!
Voted great, kinda miss having a bad guy to hunt or have a mystery over for the season.
