    I liked it, and thought it was probably the most interesting episode so far.  I'm still not quite hooked though, but I'm very excited for next week's episode.

    I wish there was a "Good" choice because it wasn't great but it was better than OK.  I wish the dad hadn't yanked the harness off the kid so quickly.  I was looking forward to learning more about the skitters' motivation.  Still we did learn some more about them and there wasn't one doctor/leader fight so that's a plus.  If Steven Weber has a small arc, then my guess is he gets killed by that skitter in the cage a la Independence Day.

    Still on the fence.

    The plot is interesting and the aliens are very well done. The acting is good- not great.  I guess I'm just not invested in the plot or the characters yet.

    I have some minor issues with a couple things like when they killed the controlling skitter the kids are not under its influence anymore and are no danger. Why not go take their guns and ammunition?  
    - Who builds explosions next to a radio run by a 10 year old?  
    - Wouldn't you keep the communications away from the explosives being made?
    - If the front window was mostly broken out, why did they need to break out a solid window when they were trying to get away from the skitter and the armed harnessed kids?
    - There's plenty of skitters around to kill, cut apart and study so why even consider cutting up a live captive that is much harder to come by?

    I will keep watching past my typical 3 episode trial period I think. It has potential and a great pedigree.... and it is summer so not as much is on....

    Liked it enough. The acting performances by Noah W, Moon B, and the Capt, have been pretty good, but the performances of the eldest son (Hal?) abd then by the father of the rescued harnessed kid tonight weren't good...  I keep waiting for something to pick up the pace either in action or emotion, and hope that they do so soon.

    Ya, I agree. I think it would have been more logical to keep the father out of the room and use the harnessed son to communicate with the captive skitter. The entire episode was about trying to find a way to communicate, then when the found one they abandoned it within minutes.
