Lost Girl - Cle Bennett (The Ash) starring in Flashpoint season 4, limited or no presence on Lost Girl S2?

3 Jul 2011

Cle Bennett who plays The Ash the local light fae clan leader on Lost Girl joined the cast of Flashpoint season 4 which premieres next week in Canada and has been filming since Feb. 14 until Sept. 15/11. This is completely conflicting with Lost Girl and Cle Bennett appears to be a regular on Flashpoint and onboard from the first episode.
So perhaps there will be a new light fae leader in season 2? The Ash was last seen between life and death with Lauren in the finale
On Flashpoint Bennett stars as a diamond-in-the-rough recruit

  1. He was interesting as The Ash, but hardly irreplaceable. Plus like the article said he was near death or dead in the Season One finale... so he can easily be written off.

  5. this could open some interesting new storylines for Lauren if he dies and she suddenly becomes a free human who knows everything at the center of the fae world which could put her in danger which is inlie with the spoilers about Bo needing to protect Lauren in season 2 and us finding out more about Lauren's backstory and how she came to be with the ash

  6. They can explore the Fae world and their powers even more now if there is a power vacuum and a new leader of the light Fae has to emerge. That might be interesting....

  7. I may watch Flashpoint again, but I'm not sure. I keep losing interest in the show.

  8. Plus, this presents a good opportunity to explore the details of these power positions and how they effect their respective communities (especially if this season expands to 22 episodes).

  9. I had the same question but I understand they probably needed to keep focus on the core characters in a debut season.  Maybe they held of on tackling that issue until the show was better established?

  10. Cle is actually joining Flashpoint on episode 6, at least thats what the press release said. And @twitter-45882896:disqus you should definitely consider watching it again. It has evolved so much and has become better every season. The last season ended with a major cliffhanger, to be picked up July 8
