Harry's Law - Mark Valley Joins The Cast

Well, my fellow Mark Valley fans won't have to wait long for their next fix.

While we're still mourning the cancellation of Human Target on FOX, the show's leading man has signed on to become a series regular for the sophomore year of NBC's Harry's Law. Details on his role are scant thus far, but Entertainment Weekly reports that he'll be one of the new attorneys hired by main character Harriet "Harry" Korn (Kathy Bates).

The job reunites Valley with David E. Kelley; he was previously a regular for the first three seasons of Kelley's Boston Legal, playing the character of Brad Chase, who eventually left Crane, Poole & Schmidt and ended up in the District Attorney's office.

As a Valley fan, I'm just glad to have him back on my television every week. The combination of him and Kathy Bates could be an interesting one. What do you think about Valley's next gig?

  1. Making the second Mark Valley character David E. Kelley get bored writing for.

  2. If Valley's character gets dull and overlooked on Harry's Law just pretend that he's really Christopher Chance pretending to be the character in order to protect someone at the firm.

  3. I wonder if he will play Brad Chase as the straight man to the crazy shenanigans of Harry's Law like he did on Boston Legal or if he will be a new character entirely.....

  4. i hope he actually gets some material... brad chase has to be one of the lamest characters ever created on tv!!!!!

  5. He was created to be lame though. How can you not like that he was "almost a navy seal" but got stuck in an air vent? XD

  6. Lol, that's my least favourite thing about David E. Kelly. He just got rid of actors for seemingly no good reason with little to no explanation xD. I will be checking out Harry's Law because of my love of Boston Legal (and it'll be fun to see Mark Valley again), but I hope they don't squander their cast (I think a couple of people have already left).
