According to exec producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran, Hurley will play a character named, ironically enough, Diana Payne, “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with. Diana’s entrance on the Upper East Side will change the lives of all our characters — including, and especially, Gossip Girl herself.

    I love Elizabeth Hurley, but Gossip Girl has been so blah since Season 3. Hopefully, she will shake things up again.
