Fingers crossed for Terra Nova and Fringe. House and Bones are pretty much out the door for me this season. They have their premieres to change my mind.
As much as I'm sad to see House fall so far from its former glory, Bones, which was previously something I considered fluff, has really become very consistently awesome n the past few years:). Otherwise, am excited for Raising Hope, Terra Nova, (and possibly Glee the tiniest bit maybe a little but Smash will probably be better and give me the legit broadway fix I need vs. overproduced pop).
I just really don't like how the writers are handling them finally getting together. An accidental pregnancy(Really Booth? You don't own condoms after the last time?) from an offscreen moment of weakness, not planning on showing any 'relationship' stuff(paraphrased from Stephen Nathan), etc.. It's like they put them together in the most uncreative, cop-out way just so they could say "We finally got them together!".
I know a lot of the reasons behind this stuff is ED's pregnancy but I think there were more creative ways to handle it while not depriving the fanbase, who have waited years to see these two get together, of all the relation stuff they wanted to see. Great, they're a couple now, but if you're going to avoid showing them doing 'couple' things then why bother?
I guess you only read some of the spoilers...Maybe the very first episode won't be too much about them being a couple, but I read somewhere that the first 6 eps will contain a lot of "becoming a family"...
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
cant wait! thanks for posting this!
