Hey Dexter Fans,
We're progressing further with the Badgeville badges, and Dexter is to be the next show to have STV show specific badges, where you score points and badges for engaging in posts that are solely Dexter based. Points are scored by commenting, tweeting, facebook-like-ing and using the google+ link amongst other things...
This follows from the Supernatural, Fringe, Vampire Diaries & Chuck badges we have already launched... For more information on Badgeville on STV head HERE
Of course we need to design the badges for this, and seeing as you as fans are important to us and know who is a great character on the show and who is not, we thought we'd let you pick the faces that will be on the badges.
For this show, all the main and recurring characters are in one poll for you to choose from. The exception to this is obviously Dexter, who will be taking the top level badge seeing as he is the star of the show... Everyone else who have been in 6 episodes or more is in the same poll, so make sure you vote for your favourites...
All you need to do is vote for the 5 characters you feel are most worthy of a place on the remaining 9 badges we will initially create... That means you can select up to 5 characters then press the vote button... I've included all the important multi-episode characters in 6 episodes or over I can find but if there's someone else you want to nominate who was in less, stick him in the other option :D The top nominations will appear on the badges in that rank order!
Remember to vote for 5 characters and whilst your at it you can comment below on who you chose and why...

ReplyDeleteDebra (Dexter's sister, she's great and important to Dexter), Batista (apart from Debra, I like him the most at the police station), Harry (Dexter's father and mentor, he shaped Dexter into what he is, whether he wanted to or not), Masuka (he's cool) and Lumen (I liked her in the last season, whish she could come back somehow).

ReplyDeleteIt's in our maybe pile atm... there won't be any Breaking Bad badges for a while for certain :P Hopefully though we can get to the point where we can start making the maybe ones as well... just takes a while to get it all set up :)

Have to agree.. I disliked him when he was on and have not missed his snarl one second since he was killed.

I too loathe LaGuerta, but she was written to be unlikable. At least at first. I've absolutely hated her "evolution" because the characterization is so unstable (case and point being her wobbling all over the scale from nice person to batshit crazy in S5).

ReplyDeleteIndeed she is. My guess is she'd probably make it back onto the show eventually but that was blown sky-high by all the Hall / Carpenter / Stiles off-season drama. It's a damn shame.
