Tom Aldredge, who played Uncle Pete in the first two seasons of Damages and Ethan Thompson in the first season of Boardwalk Empire, died yesterday of lymphoma. He was 83 years old. His wife of more than 50 years, Theoni V. Aldredge, had died earlier this year. Mr Aldredge had recently moved to Tampa to live with his nephew, he was with him when he passed away. May he rest in peace.

ReplyDeletei was so fond of Tom. When I had the lead in the original version of "The Nervous Set" I went to Tom to help me act. He was a dear and worked with me over and over. And inexperienced young musician-turned actress, I'd never have been able to do the show without him.
