Here’s some more fireworks for you: Charisma Carpenter is set to heat up USA Network’s Burn Notice, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The actress will guest-star in this season’s 11th episode as Nicki, a sharp-tongued, high-maintenance trophy wife whose not-so-better half, a bioweapons engineer, is a wanted man in cahoots with the Russians. Increasingly dissatisfied with her marriage, Nicki proves to be a pawn ripe for the manipulating in Michael and Fi’s effort to get to her husband.

    Yay for Charisma! She needs her own show, I swear. She was awesome on Buffy, Angel, Veronica Mars, and Charmed.

    Also LOL at her playing another trophy wife.

    Hmmm... Need a sarcastic and morally grey villain.cast Mark Sheppard. Need a trophy wife... cast Charisma Carpenter I guess. Seems she's doomed in the role.

    I would like to see her do something more dramatic sometime, but she is the perfect trophy in the meantime.

    Anyone else wish that Charisma played Nate's wife Ruth instead?  Maybe I wouldn't want to stab my eyes out whenever she comes on screen.

    I've never particularly liked anything Carpenter has done except for Buffy.  I'd rather have a role like this go to someone like Kelly Carlson.

    I agree she would have been great as Nate's wife.  I loved her on Buffy and Angel and i am so glad she is going be on Burn Notice.
