Blue Bloods - Season 2 - Casting News - David Ramsey Lands a Recurring Role

19 Jul 2011

Blue Bloods police commissioner Frank Reagan will be reporting to someone new at City Hall in Season 2.

Former Dexter star David Ramsey has been tapped for the recurring role of newly elected Mayor Carter Poole, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Poole's political background includes his work as a community organizer, but he is also a liberal who is particularly soft on crime.

As we previously reported, that doesn't necessarily sit well with Frank (Tom Selleck). However, a source tells us that despite getting off on the wrong foot, the two will ultimately be able to work together.

  1. Not a big fan of Blue Bloods but I like David Ramsey so maybe I should give it another chance.

  2. You kidding? Easily the best show on Friday nights, but then again, I enjoy procedural drama shows.

  3. I enjoy procedural dramas but that depends on whether or not the cast clicks for me. That didn't happen when I watched Blue Bloods so I decided not to keep watching.

  5. Can't wait for BB to return, for me it was easily the best new show last year. Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck in particular are great....but tbh te whole cast is pitch perfect! I love the Reagan family dynamic. It reminds me a bit of The Godfather, from the opposite side of the law XD
