Voted for Julia Stiles, Kaitlyn Dever and Ally Walker but especially Dever and Justified was just amazing.
ReplyDeleteJulia Stiles here. She was the best part of Dexter S5.
ReplyDeleteI think you and I are the only two people that enjoyed Dexter Season Five and thought Julia Stiles was awesome in it.... XD
ReplyDeleteJulie Stiles, she was great in Dexter S5.
ReplyDeleteGretchen Mol - Boardwalk Empire
ReplyDeleteAlly Walker - Sons of Anarchy
Julia Stiles - Dexter
Kaitlyn Dever - Justified (Great performance for any actress but amazing for one so young)
Mary McDonald - The Closer
Alfre Woodard - True Blood
I'm going with Diahann Carroll (White Collar) 'cause she is the only one I know
ReplyDeleteWow I stand corrected!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I mentioned how great Stiles last year I was lambasted.... But I guess I'm not alone in thinking she rocked it!
I thought Season Five was one of the best seasons so far and Julia Stiles was one of the reasons for that awesomeness...
ReplyDeletethe season was okay but Stiles' role was awesome
ReplyDeletestill bummed they made her disappear in the end tho >:D
Kaitlyn Dever did a great job on Justified, she should be nominated, but she's like 16, so she won't.
ReplyDeleteJulia Stiles, however, will most certainly get a nomination that she
totally deserves. Season 5 may have been disappointing overall (I
thought the 1st episode and the 2nd part of the season when Jordan Chase
arrives were pretty good though) but the Lumen/Dexter relationship was
very interesting.
I would give a nomination to Joan Cusack for her role on Shameless as Sheila. I don't know if she submitted herself as a supporting actress or a guest star though. After all Julia Stiles was in 10 episodes of Dexter and she's credited as a guest-star apparently, like John Lithgrow and Jimmy Smits who both were nominated at the Emmys as guest-stars despite playing in all 12 episodes each.
Nope, I thought she kicked ass. The phone call scene is one of my favorites in the series.
ReplyDeleteKaitlyn Dever - JustifiedJulia Stiles - DexterAlly Walker - SoA
ReplyDeleteDiahann Carroll - White Collar
Gretchen Mol - Boardwalk Empire
how is margo martindale not on this list?
ReplyDeleteJulia Stiles - she was just fantastic in Dexter. If she didn't nail the role, the season would have been so flat.
ReplyDeleteJulia Stiles!!!!
ReplyDeleteshe's a supporting actress

Adrienne Palicki on Criminal Minds!
ReplyDeleteAdrian Pasdar (Castle).
ReplyDeleteI guess on Dexter at least they must look at it as Supporting actor/actress equals a recurring role on multiple seasons and Guest Actor/Actress equals a one-season role... maybe?
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Mitchell belongs on that list. She was awsome on Law & Order SUV.
ReplyDeleteAmerica Ferrara, terrific as Natalie Morales on TGW.
ReplyDeleteRita Wilson, TGW
Paula Malcolmsen on Fringe.
Virginia Madsen on The Event.
She was awesome. I was surprised how much I liked season 5, thought it'd be a letdown after how incredible season 4 with John Lithgow was.
ReplyDeleteI agree about Joan Cusack, she's great on Shameless. But I would've thought she'd be recurring rather than guest star.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right. John Lithgow won the guest actor award last year despite being such a big character throughout season 4.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Candice Bergen. I think she brought a lot to the episodes she played in.
ReplyDeleteBergen, Burstyn, Moll, Dever, and Stiles. Give Stiles the award.
ReplyDeleteI never really was a fan of Walker and her acting on SoA to be honest.
ReplyDeleteWhere the hell is Joan Cusack? Her character on Shameless was outstanding.
ReplyDeleteI pray that Natalie Morales is back next season. Ferrera was so awesome in that role!
ReplyDeleteMe too! Bet she will be.
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen all, but I'd say Julia Stiles and Ellen Burstyn.
ReplyDeleteJulia Stiles!
ReplyDeleteI really think Elizabeth Mitchell should be on here for Law and Order SVU. One of her best performances by far and that episode was amazing!!! She really showed what she is capable of!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good catch. She was pretty damn good.
ReplyDeleteMary McDonnell for her role on The Closer! And is Elizabeth Mitchell eligible for her role on SVU? Because she was pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteShohreh Aghdashloo on House! Amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love Diahann Carroll as June on White Collar, but in all honesty she hasn't been given the story to really shine as much as could. Except for the Ford story, she is rarely seen for more than a couple of minutes at a time. Such a shame! I would love to hear more about her life with Byron. I have a feeling she was a real pistol in her 20's.
ReplyDeleteVoted for Candice Bergen on House, her performance as Cuddy's mom was priceless!
ReplyDeleteELIZABETH MITCHELL! - LAW AND ORDER SVU!!!!!!!!!!! WHY THE FUCK WAS SHE NOT INCLUDED!!!!?????
ReplyDeletelol :)
ReplyDeleteLoretta Devine (Grey's Anatomy)
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Mitchell for SVU, obviously
