On stands June 24, Entertainment Weekly goes behind the scenes of the upcoming season 4 and features three alternate covers that’s sure to satiate Team Bill, Team Eric and Team Alcide shippers. In a short preview on PopWatch, Alexander Skarsgård does reveal that Eric’s love scenes may be tamer this season:

“I did some crazy stuff last year. I almost had sex with a Greek man and I was covered in his goo. Everything from here on is pretty childish. Everything’s quite innocent.”

    Because it's stylized for this one paintining, but I don't remember its name, it's also 'featured' in the Desperate Housewives intro.

    "American Gothic" by Grant Wood, but it's been imitated or spoofed by many many people including Arrested Development and DH like you mentioned.
