I've never understood the reasoning behind taking good/great U.K. programming and turning it into mediocre U.S. programming. Just get a license to broadcast the U.K. version; it has to cost less than re-shooting. Losing the five cave dwellers than can't understand an English accent is a bonus.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
If MTV cancelled this to play music videos again I may actually care.... Then again Likely not.... MTV always played crap.
ReplyDeleteToo bad IMF (International Music Fee) went out of business.
Even if MTV decided to broadcast music again, the music they promoted would still be awful.
ReplyDeleteTHANK GOD
ReplyDeleteYAAYYY! :D
ReplyDeleteNow the UK version can live in peace <3

ReplyDeleteWayyy too much controversy to have a 2nd season. Good call, MTV.
ReplyDeleteRemakes and reimaginings can actually be pretty awesome (I actually prefer the US Shameless to the original).
ReplyDeleteBut when they're lazy with the writing, directing, acting, etc etc, then it all turns to crap... like this piece of garbage.
Yeah, that's exactly my thoughts!
