Great episode, really enjoyed the treasure hunt, and the ever more complex relationship between Peter and Neal, love the bit at the end where he tricks the woman from the Jeffersonian into telling him about the manifest. Can't wait til next week, see if we find out whether or not Mozzie sold the painting. Also, I enjoyed seeing more of Satchmo, that dog is very cute. In fact, my only complaint about the entire thing is that I'm not that impressed by the new title sequence, much preferred the old one.
"Honey, do you wanna grab some mirrors and go play with Nean?" *whistles innocently* Otherwise: DENMARK \O/ SATCHMO \O/ The 3, no 4, puzzle award-thingies dialogue! the digs about relevancy! The competitive anagram-ing! The cute kid! The two brothers literally breaking down a wall between them. The writers think they are so funny XD
This whole Nazi plunder storyline is reprehensible as far as I'm concerned. If Jeff thinks that it's okay that the plunder came from the Amber Room instead of Jewish citzenry, he's got another thought coming. The Nazi's slaughtered Russians, too, in their quest to ransack Russia's museums, and to gain entrance to the Amber Room and dismantle it. I find the scenes of Neal & Mozzie ogling their Blood plunder sickening.
Quite frankly, I'd prefer that Neal & Mozzie be kept AS FAR AWAY as possible from Peter & El. But since the first 9 episodes are already in the can, that's not going to happen, So I'm going to grit my teeth through all their "See we're writing bromancy stories so it's all good" crap.
I'm going to continue watching this because I have a major crush on Tim and I've liked Matt ever since he played Bryce Larkin on Chuck. And also because I want to see just exactly how the writers do go about extricating themselves from this mess of a story arc they've created.
I enjoyed to watch Peter getting excited over the treasure hunt most this episode. Even the hunt itself was amazing. Kind of had the Indiana Jones feeling. The end left me impatiently waiting for next Tuesday. I hope Mozzie got the call timely!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Perfect mixture of intricate crime, good guest stars, and amazing interaction between main characters. Liked Anna Chlumsky and her bit part too.
