  1. Absolutely awesome for a pre-season finale episode. I suspected the escort was talking about Richmond when she talked about a sweet guy who then turned weird. Jamie wasn't really an option for me to book an escort because he's gay, but nevertheless it would have been possible. Still not convinced it actually was Richmond, but right now all signs point at his direction.

Apart from major new clues in the murder mystery we had great character scenes. Especially Stan & Mitch in the prison stood out. Can't wait for next week's finale.

  2. Excellent episode. Each week another character's deepest secret is revealed. This week we found out some very interesting news about Aunt Terry, about Tom with his overhead swimming pool, and are on the brink of learning some intrigue about Richmond.

Richmond is not the killer, though. We still have another whole episode to go, so it's too soon for that revelation (oh yeah, I read mystery novels. I know how that goes). Each episode also gives us one or two eliminations, and this week Jamie was eliminated as a suspect: too disinterested in Tom's kinky pool, and shows concern about impropriety. Neither Mitch nor Stan did it, but they have other stuff going on. Terry gets the Bad Aunt award, but had nothing to do with the murder. No evidence whatsoever that Rick was involved. Mayor Adams doesn't seem to be hiding anything, and is worried about the waterfront's closing and nothing else. Not Drexler. Holder pushed for that in his investigation of the prostitute, but it didn't pan out. And not Belko, who is pretty stupid and would have cracked under investigation, but didn't.

So I don't know who killed Rosie, but man, Sarah really needs to let up on Jack's father. She needs all the help she can get with Jack.

  3. Very interesting episode, although I too think Richmond was another misdirect. My guess is that the creepy conversation he had about drowning with the prostitute was about his wife. We know she was killed by a drunk driver or something but not exactly how. My guess is that she was driven off the road into a body of water.

  4. I like that theory. My interest was piqued when Gwen's face changed as Richmond spoke to the reporters about his wife. I wonder if she knows that what he said is not exactly true.

  5. I just remembered - didn't Richmond have an alibi for the night of the murder? I might be wrong, but didn't he say he was with Gwen? I'm just too lazy to look it up and confirm it.

  6. Sounds familiar, but I couldn't find anything online.

  7. Found it, Gwen stated in 1x02 that she and Richmond spent the night together.
