I liked this episode and it was definitely action-packed. I will say I am disappointed that they still have the same title sequence. White Collar got a new title sequence this year and Burn Notice is way overdue. Fiona is not his ex, Sam hasn't informed on him in over 4 years, and things aren't near as intense with his mom. Plus, Michael is practically unburned. Time for a new title sequence stat. Maybe they can blow up the old one.
Funny, I was thinking the same thing with the opening sequence. Maybe they left it, so that people who watch Burn Notice for the first time get a flashback to where the story started.
But maybe there's hope still. I realized that the new intro for White Collar started only with the second episode.
I've been waiting for ages for this!! I've only just got round to watching it though! It was brilliant!... Do glad to see Michael and Fi back together although it probably won't last!
Great. For a minute there I thought it was just me. I couldn't stop grinning after that point. Real confirmation from Michael no less. I guess jumping into a surrounded building and offering to die with your love is one way to progress the relationship. Of course, I would not suggest it to, well real people.
That's another good point. I forgot that it says that he has to stay in Miami when that is clearly not the case anymore. I think he played world roulette those first 10 minutes.
Hey no talk like that. :-) They are made to be together and I hope it lasts at least the next two years. Sure they can have rough patches and given their personalities they will, but I want them supporting each other through it all. You hear me Matt Nix and writing staff.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Burn Notice is the best action show on TV these days.
ReplyDeleteGreat Season Four premiere.
ReplyDeleteThe new dynamic between Michael as a CIA "asset" and his old team is fun... as are the new CIA people.
Her hair is darker. That is what i noticed. Also loved the season premiere. I have been waiting for this since the season finale in December.
ReplyDeleteMan, I disappointed. I was sure you would mention that Michael actually calls Fiona his girlfriend, Dr Rose. I was waiting to hear your reaction.
